How I Make Homemade Natural Fabric Refresher

Prior to switching to all natural cleaners, I loved Febreze. I loved the freshness it brought to all the soft surfaces in my house.  Believe me, I would grab my bottle and spray that stuff all over the place.

However, when I made the choice to only use green cleaners around my family, Febreze was one of the products that had to go. Why? Because I have no idea what it’s made of, but I’m sure it’s not an all natural product or else it would be advertised as such. Don’t you think?

So. Since a bad habit can be hard to break, I ended up making my own fabric refresher.

To make my own fabric spray, I only wanted to use products that I already love and trust.

And you know what? My version smells great and it even disinfects!

Things  I used:

  • Clean spray bottle
  • 16 oz of water
  • 2 tbsp of Get Clean Soft Fabric Concentrate (I use this for my laundry too! :) )
  • 1/4 tsp of Basic-G (concentrated germicide helps disinfect, clean and deodorize)
  • optional: essential oil (add if you are using a fragrance-free fabric softener or whenever you feel like changing-up the fragrance of your fabric refresher).

Add everything into a spray bottle, mix it and spray.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fabric refresher!

I’m happy that I can still freshen up things around the house and not have to worry about saturating our things with toxic cleaners.

Talk about a dream come true!
